Heh I remember Zell Miller just blasted this guy on the Senate floor, after he cut a hole the American flag and wore it as a poncho at the Super Bowl half-time show while signing the song about "grabbing crotch and drinking scotch" lol. Here in Manchester NH we have an AFR station that I listen to often. I like the music they play, but I can't stand the DJs, including Don Wildmon. The guy must be as old as Methuselah, and a prude of the most irritating kind.
I'll take Jay Severin any day.

While I don't pretend to know ANYTHING about Kid Rock's way of life nor his Rap music. I do REMEMBER being a bad ass uninformed youngster going into harms way for my country listening to wierd ass music like "WHITE RABBIT" and "THE RAIN THE PARK and OTHER THINGS".

If our men and women in HARMS WAY today like his music, and he entertains them and provides them with aid and comfort, and enhances the MORAL of our troops........so be it!!

According to the Newsweek article, the Captain gave my college buddy Commander Chris Peterschmidt (MU '87) a direct order to pull the plug on the song but it somehow kept on playing. :-)
