Two men were arrested and more than 1,000 pounds of marijuana seized in Douglas on Tuesday afternoon after the two rammed a vehicle driven by federal agents, officials said.

Two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were serving a search warrant at a house in the 1400 block of 20th Street in Douglas when the incident occurred.

Two men trying to leave the house in a vehicle rammed the front end of the agents' vehicle, said agency spokesman Russell Ahr.

The two men drove south but were soon stopped and arrested, he said. Ahr said he did not know their names.

The agents were not injured.

Authorities served the search warrant on the house, finding 1,085 pounds of marijuana inside, he said.

Would that address in Douglas be on the recieving end of one of the notorious Agua Prieta tunnels?
Quite an impressive lineup of houses on the A.P. side of the border.

Let's just say that it's in the immediate local where others have been located.
