Well, the Yahweh of the Old Testament apparently instructed his "Chosen People" to savagely kill and wipe out the pagan Canaanites, and that's no better.
IMO, no true God ever instructed anyone to savagely kill or wipe out anyone else. Any religion that says so is wrong on that score; but that's not to say they can't be right about other things. I'm sure there's good stuff in the Koran, as there is in the Bible.
