This can be avoided I believe.

How about anytime a Bradley Fighting Vehicle or any convoy vehicle(s)is on patrol especially on a main traveled send a M1A1 Abrams Tank ahead with a Mine Flail beating the hell out of the road ahead of it and it wll surely detonate any and all bombs whether they are to be set off by a remote control device or by contact by a vehicle driving over it.

No, then why not?

Why do you think its cowardly to blow the crew and A Bradley Fighting vehicle up with a home made bomb?

These needs to stop. I don't care which means are used. Unless it's appeasement.

What a blow to Southern Louisiana.

A Guard unit from my town is being deployed this weekend. There were photos in our local paper. Many of these men are in their forties, with teenage children. One is a good policeman.

We are sending our brightest and best over there...

For what? Remind me. So people who don't want democracy, and haven't had it in two milennia, can vote?

So we can "fight them there so we don't have to fight them here"??

What if we have to fight them here AND there at the same time?

And our local heroes, policemen, firemen, EMT's--are being deployed. Who will be left for that elusive "Homeland Security"?

Is it really about the oil?

I beginning to feel very worried about just that. I hoped we'd moved away from Vietnam, where the war was fought by politicians in Washington. Our soldiers still seem to be mere pawns in some politcal game. In a few highly publicized cases, they seem to have been thrown to the politically correct wolves.
God bless and keep them all.

We'll fight them. Let the bastards come here and try that shit. Our home is loaded to bear with weapons. There will be a mass exodus of muslims from NY to Ca.

There won't be political correctness. There will be an all out war with those bastards.

Unfortunately, soldiers appear to be completely expendable to the political class.

Agree, this sh*t is getting way to old and most understand it aint going to end.

For each IED that kills an American, we take out a Mosque. Sooner or later there will be no killing or no more Mosques.

That is such a harsh statement, but it's true. Oh, so true.

Hate to be a glass half empty type here but the way it is looking now, the gov't would send in UN troops and bring you up on war crime charges if you tried it.
