Martin Sheen is presenting the best movie drama award, and if the speculation is right, Mel Gibson and his The Passion of the Christ will win.

"The Passion of the Christ"

Best movie of the last 40 years.

God bless Mel Gibson.

Dedicating the award to those fighting in
Iraq.

Unbearable.

I'm not at all surprised that Moore got the award and not Gibson. I personally think the PCA people line up the award presenters with winners in a way that won't lead to something potentially ugly. So they wouldn't, say, have Tom Selleck present an award in a category that Sheryl Crow or Ellen Degeneres would be eligible in. So seeing as Martin Sheen was presenting this particular award...

I know. It still angers me. Moore-on still grates on my nerves.

Boycotting Hollywood will not solve the problem. We need to take the fight to them! We need to support good movies. We need to impose our values on Hollywood.
Imagine how offended they were when "The Passion" was a success? Can you imagine? It makes me feel great just thinking about it.

My sentiments, exactly... maybe only 100 times greater.

I think this show is about the lowest common denominator.

"People's choice"? Is that like the "People's Republic"?

Some canned bit about how we are all Americans and we all love this country. Then something about dedicating his award to our troops. He actually managed to say all that with a straight face.

F 911 was not up against The Passion. But it was up against Spiderman 2. The people voted with their wallet as Spiderman 2 out grossed F 911. There is no way an honest vote took place that had F 911 beating Spiderman.

I haven't been here in awhile.. hope everyone is doing well.
I cannot believe that Michael Moore won the peoples choice award. I haven't felt this angry since 911.
We all know its fixed. Heck prolly 10 people saw the movie

Watched "24" for the first time tonight. Great show. My favorite part: The show's SecDef is arguing with his lefty son when son says something about the U.S. conquering the world. The SecDef snorts "Don't give me any of the Michael Moore 6th grade logic!"

Spidey 2 was awesome. No way any rational person would vote Moore's pack of lies over that flick. In their oh so twisted logic, they probably said, 'hey, since the conservatives can fix the election, we can fix this award.'
