Heh heh. It's gonna be fun and games here in Ohio in the next few years.

Blackwell: Hated by the Democrates, feared by the RINOs.
I think I just found a new tagline.

The RINOs in Ohio will do their best to sink his candidacy. They'll even help to elect a Democrat just to make sure Ken Blackwell never becomes Governor.

He wandered of the plantation and they want to lynch him. The democritters have not strayed far from their roots.

I don't think the RINO's stand a chance against him. They tried to hurt him last summer and were nearly torn to pieces for it.
He's going to rise to the top whether they want him to or not.

If Ken Blackwell is the only conservative running for Governor, I am sure that he will win the GOP primary over any RINO and go on to win in November of 2006. But we just have to make sure that "moderate conservatives" such as Senator DeWine do not jump into the gubernatorial race and pull conservative votes away from Lt. Gov. Blackwell.

I'm not from Ohio, but I just sent a donation to Mr. Blackwell's campaign. Electing Ken Blackwell as the next governor of Ohio is not just in the best interest of Ohioans, it is in our national interest. I urge FReepers to do what they can to promote the candidacy of this fine conservative.

Must-read on how liberals are trying to stop Ohio Lt. Gov. J. Kenneth Blackwell before he becomes the nation's only black governor. A black conservative Republican governor of a large Midwestern swing state that was ground zero in the 2004 presidential election and may be again in 2008 is the liberals' worst nightmare, which is why not only the Democrats, but also the RINOs, are coming out swinging against the good man. There are many reasons to support Ken Blackwell's gubernatorial candidacy, but making liberals deeply saddened is perhaps the best reason of all.
Blackwell for Governor in 2006 (and for President in 2016?)

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

With no black Republicans in the House, Senate, or any governorships,... I must have read the article incorrectly. Seems to me, if I read it right, then we shouldn't let black republican reps retire. Isn't that a form of slavery?

Who is expected to be the establishment choice for governor against Mr. Blackwell in the OH primary in May 2006? Establishment Republicans usually do very well in primaries in OH.
To: AuH2ORepublican
FYI: Blackwell is not the Lt. Gov. That position is held by another black republican.

OOPS! Egg on my face here. Of course, Ken Blackwell is the Secretary of State, which is why the Democrats got the chance to demonize him over the Ohio vote. Jennette Bradley, another black Republican, is the Lieutenant Governor of Ohio. Please accept my apologies.

I wonder if Blackwell could be denied the nomination the way the GA Republicans did in 2004 to Herman Cain?
