I think that person was Heyward.

The intention was to assure the W.H. it was never personal, it was never political driven.

If they cannot admit the truth I can't see an apology forthcoming any time soon.

They (SeeBS) seem to refer to the WH rather than the current President. I'm sure they meant no harm to the WH, but all the harm to Bush43. Until they admit that, there will be no end to criticism that they are the LSM.

This is a corporation with stockholders. Believe me, the apology has already been manifested behind closed doors.

Dan Rather is no different than any other superstar that has tried to stay on too long. CBS has already essentially told the world that Rather was shown the door.
