Thanks for pointing that out Happygal, but how do folks who watch the thread headlines who aren't about the emergency medical benefits of tampons learn this kind of stuff- short of reading every thread back until before the election? Does F.R. have a firm policy on duplicitous threads?

Not so much on threads like this, I think.

But in high volume times, you could get ten duplicate threads on the same topic within a ten hour period. Then they try to manage the volume.

I think this is a cute story. And I didn't read it first time round either. No harm done, in my mind.

However, no point bashing people who are simply trying to encourage good posting practice either. :-)
