He doesn't need to carry a gun, he's got sharp teeth.

Glad to hear that he is well. I was a little concerned when I first saw him. He was great on the Whitewater Committee. Hil must be gnashing her teeth.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he involved with advising the Swifties?

Chertoff was the most honest person in the room during the Whitewater Hearings.

Name one of the 9/11 terrorists that entered this country illegally?

Which ones?.

Mr. TANCREDO. Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume to make two quick points.

One is, indeed, most of the people who were here, most of the hijackers were here illegally, not legally, because they fraudulently produced documents to get their visas. The visas were frauds to begin with, making them illegal aliens in this country.

Secondly, many of them had overstayed their visas or were doing something here that was not allowed under the visa, making them illegal aliens in this country. So, indeed, they were illegal.

Thirdly, there are far more members of 9/11 families who oppose this bill because the provisions we are talking about here are missing; those provisions to secure our borders are missing. Far more oppose this bill in its present form than support it.

This is going to be hilarious to watch...the lefties HATE this man- he is strong, brilliant and agressive.

He is PERFECT for this position.

bernard had a few problems, thats for sure. i do think there is something to be said for a leader that accurately reflects the bulk of the organization (i.e., someone who has actually cuffed someone before). but in an organization this massive and with so many intricate legal applications, that person probably just doesn't exist.

im hoping for good things from this guy.

That bio says he's nominated to the 3rd Circuit. Which is it: HS or 3rd Circuit?

Sorry for the confusion. That was from the bio from the time he was nominated for the 3rd Circuit.

What do you mean? That is the judgeship he holds right now. He will leave it in order to become HS Director.

He was cleared by a bi partisan investigation and was confirmed. Hillary's was the only vote against him.

Chertoff was the first person ever to mention The Lippo Group in a public hearing (while questioning Webb Hubbell), which caused Al Damato and Paul Sarbanes to go instantly ballistic.

That of course led to years of investigations and coverups about Chinese political contributions and the selling of American missle technology to the PLA (People's Liberation Army), among many other things.

In retrospect I believe Chertoff was fishing with Hubbell, taking what he knew to be an isolated single fact (Hubbell's $200,000 Lippo retainer) and looking for some sort of reaction. He got one. Chertoff was the guy who dropped the bomb.

Hillary was just mad because he was a Whitewater investigator in the Congress(and a very aggressive one I might add). But was he also involved with Impeachment???

Which ones?.

Tancredo is no source. The man himself hires illegals to work on his own house. I notice he didn't name one 9/11 hijacker that entered this country illegally. And neither did you.
