That's how I used to feel. This case defies common sense, common decency and all logic. I have concluded that it's a spiritual battle. Satan has corrupted so many. It's an end times thing. I used to just sit and shake my head. Unbelievable. It helps to do something. Go visit http://www.terrisfight.org and check it out. You'll feel better, dear. Terri still lives and these new lawyers seem to be ON FIRE!!!!
The judges try to use their "interpretation" of the law to mean whatever they want it to mean. They have to ignore the obvious conflict of interest because it would show that they have been neglecting to do their duty to uphold the constitution of Florida.(Ooops, I forgot, Greer didn't file an oath! Doesn't that make him a de facto judge?)
Plenty of Florida guardianship laws have been abandoned over and over again in Terri's case. Not only should Michael NOT be Terri's guardian, he should be serving time for felonies he has committed against Terri by his neglect of her!
Someone needs to charge Michael for his neglect of Terri. Oh wait, we can't expect the sheriff's office to do anything to Michael, as Jodi's mother used to work for the sheriff for years before her untimely death in August!
How much corruption does the State of Florida need before they prosecute this jerk?
Amen to that! Read my tagline. Terri is the reason I decided to stop lurking on FR. Then I got off my rear end and did a little more. Freepers are great at helping you stay motivated! Get involved! Make phone calls, write letteers, send e-mails, sign petitions, talk about Terri to others, and most importantly, stay on your knees in prayer!
Free Terri Schiavo!
Thanks, Pegita! I "heart" your wonderful prayers! They give me renewed strength!
Amen.
Beautiful prayer as always.
Why these judges aren't ashamed of themselves,
That's an easy one. Do you recall from modern history about Boston's liberal lawyer Joseph Welch asking the late Senator Joseph McCarthy, "Have you no sense of decency? Have you no shame?"
Well, I don't think McCarthy answered Welch, but McCarthy may have at least had good intentions, and he was on the trail of some communists in government.
The FL judiciary though is bereft of good intentions. It aims to kill, plunder, steal, etc.
Yes, they aren't ashamed, but IMHO, they should be!
Thanks for the ping......it's so nice to see so many freepers new to Terri's threads.
Prayer continues...
This seems to be a much better approach than the bare attempts to let parents make decisions rather than a spouse. I am not for the intrusion into marriage and have said all along that if they want to do something different, it should be based on Mr. Schiavo's alleged wrongdoing.
Thanks, Ohioan from Florida!
Simple enough, he serves the prince and power of this world.
True enough! Still, he should be ashamed!
It simply need a Governor willing to exercise the power of the office.
If the Republicans are too week kneed to challenge a circuit court judge, then how can we ever expect them to attack the big boys. Personally I don't think they have the will.
How about passing a law that would allow people who have a guardianship hearing pending before a judge to get the hearing moved to another judge if the assigned judge has granted so many continuances and other delays that their case does not get heard within 27 months?
Isn't there still a channgle filed in 2002 which has yet to get beyond the preliminary-hearing stage?
I don't know what a channgle is (LOL), but I think this is just another attempt to get Greer to hold that guardianship hearing. If they don't continue to remind him in ways like this filing, then Greer will sit on it forever.
Here's another article based on the same info. Read what a lovely response Felos has.

Terri Schiavo's parents try again to remove husband as guardian
Associated Press
CLEARWATER, Fla. - The parents of a brain-damaged woman in a long right-to-die case have renewed their effort to remove her husband as her guardian in their fight over her future.
Attorneys for Bob and Mary Schindler filed a petition with circuit court Monday to remove Terri's Schiavo's husband, Michael, as her legal guardian. That, they hope, would keep her husband from ordering doctors to remove the feeding tube keeping her alive.
Her husband, claiming that she would not want to be kept alive artificially, has repeatedly received court permission to have the feeding tube removed so she can die.
In this and previous filings, the Schindlers charged that Michael Schiavo has a conflict of interest because he lives with another woman and has two children with her. They also claim Terri Schiavo should have been provided with her own attorney, and that her husband has ignored her religious beliefs.
The husband's attorney, George Felos, called the petition "a piece of garbage" and said the charges brought by the Schindlers are untrue.
"This petition is just more evidence that the parents will continue to file anything in the court in an effort to obstruct Terri's constitutional rights," Felos said.
Terri Schiavo left no written directive prior to her collapse in 1990 from a chemical imbalance. Her parents dispute that she is in a persistent vegetative state as the court has ruled. They say she responds to them and could improve with therapy.
An appeals court last month refused to order a new trial to determine Terri Schiavo's wishes.
On another front, Gov. Jeb Bush asked the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene after the Florida Supreme Court struck down a law orchestrated by the governor to save her life after her husband had the feeding tube removed in October 2003.
The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to consider the case Jan. 21.
Well, what do we expect Felos to say?
