I agree that it was a stupid thing to do but have you never in your life done something stupid where someone could have been killed or injured and had a "thank you Lord" moment that he protected you from yourself.
"have you ever done anything stupid where someone could have been killed or injured" ....Answer is no, but I have gotten in the midddle of bunch of teenagers that were fighting over a girl and got hit pretty hard, I did ask God what the heck was I doing trying to pull to raging hormone teens apart afterwards. But nothing to endanger someone. I don't butt in other people's affairs, but when it comes to children, I will ... if I feel they are in danger. This mother HAD A CHOICE and she chose to endanger herself and her child paid with her life.
I "store" the jedi's life jackets under the seat in my van. I'm pretty sure I'd never go around a barrier, but you just never know when you might need a life preserver in a car. I can swim well. They can't.
