I gave you good info, from reliable news sources, about the threat of an open Mexican border and you come back with an obtuse nasty liitle smear.

You are too ignorant and obtuse to waste time with.
That briliant post of yours would be a *gem* at DU.com

Goodbye

Quit deflecting. We were speaking of Islamic terrorists.

As for the coke...supply and demand.
Maybe all those American drug addicts should take gardening jobs.

You gave me junk. Stuff on little or no substance, which is how I would describe your theory. Until you can show me that Mexico played a role in Atta's attack on America, I will continue to dismiss your silly theories as just that - silly theories.

A massive invasion by millions of illegals and the total failure to deal with it are an omenous portent for our future. No other event in our lifetime seems so dark as our country's refusal to defend itself. The barbarians are about to sack Rome once again.

As my granddaddy said, "don't confuse 'em with facts, there mind is made up.
New poll up (short time left!)
Do you believe legalizing illegal workers will take pressure off U.S. borders, as President Bush suggests?

Yes 7% 371 votes

No 93% 5320 votes

LOL! I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, honest, Osama Bin Laden was the only thing I could work out of those initials at the time, I was fairly certain that was wrong.

I am also against the Open Borders Lobby-their agenda is insane.

If not, there are three thousand Mexican guys who are happy to have it. They'll be there at 7 am. They'll stay till 9 pm if ya want them too. That's half what they'd earn in a year pounding nails in Veracruz.

I'll decline your job offer because I'm not interested in being pushed off a roof by one of your 3000 desperate and lawless employees.

Fox has a political reason for the puffery. He and W are on agreement about everything, he wants to puff up Mexico'soverignity and influence within the US. DOESN'T MEAN IT'S TRUE!

FITZ, the 2000 Census counted 38 million "Hispanic" citizens. (I know, it's ridiculous methodology and labelling).

Do you really maintain there are nearly 80 million Hispanics in the U.S.A. out of an approximate 310 (legal and illegal) million populaton? One of four?

Quit adding that peyote to your pipe pal.

Yes I think that's likely ---- remember --- illegals tend not to get counted in the census --- hispanics now outnumber blacks and likely by quite a lot. In many areas of the USA they outnumber everyone --- here they're 90% of the population.

Vicente Fox claims there are 25 million of his citizens in the USA. That's the figure I use.

The problem with your suggested approach, F.J. Mitchell, is that it is precisely what not to do.

This issue isn't about Democrat vs Republican or liberal vs conservative because there are OBL's in both parties and patriots in both parties. It is about the Party of Money vs everyone else. It is about the Party of Cheap Labor, be it New Democrat or WSJ Republican. It doesn't win at the ballot box because its agenda is hostile to the wellbeing of this country. It wins in the smoke filled room. It wins in the shadows where deals are struck.

If you try to fight its agenda by quietly criticizing it as you say, you will be steamrollered by money every time. If you don't loudly hold their feet to the fire, calling attention to their schemes from the rooftops, most of your elected representatives WILL quietly sell you out.

You're clearly talking about your big labor, protectionist, anti-capitalist, socialist agenda. Because as far as I can see, the agenda for free trade, global competition and open borders consistently wins at the 'national' ballot box, whether during the Clinton era or the Bush era.

Being anti-immigration means being anti-capitalist now, ClintonBeGone?

Newsflash, dude: capitalism is great, everyone knows this. But there are ways to use capitalism to our advantage, and the simplest is restricting the supply of labor. This causes wages to go up as per basic laws of supply and demand. If this doesn't happen then everything we know about economics is a dirty lie.

And this nugget comes from your reading of Lenin or Stalin? Or are you just reciting the text of the poster in your union hall?
