NYS has been losing population for about 20 years now. The biggest employer in this atate is probably the State. Our Republican pols are like demoscrats and the Dems are like Socialists.
Actually the puppetmasters - the unions - run the state through their puppets the pols.

Sorry to hear that. If NY is to remain(become) viable, that much change.
I heard something recently about some idiot with the NYC public schools who claimed that the rest of the state contributed to their problems, so they were obligated to pay for them. The shear arrogance is mind numbing. Wish I could remember the detail. It was pretty freaky.
