Given the amount of FReeper histrionics over this case, I am reserving judgement. The hyperbole-to-sold-fact ratio is well over unity, and WorldNutDaily's involvement is another question mark.

I saw the video the guy shot leading up to his arrest.. He and his party crashed a permitted protest and refused to go to a counter protest area that he was instructed to move to. Anyone would be arrested for that regardless of religion. The guy was begging to be arrested.
Only one of the three charges, ethnic something or other, could be said to have anything to do with religion. The other two had to do with public safety.
