It is not a question of if there is bias anylonger, it has become a question of why? After September 11 it is hard to understand why such MSM outlets would side with terrorists, at least so obviously. Perhaps they may feel this bias internally, but business is business, and their readers are sure not to understand.

But as they control the media, if you are not presented the facts, who can ask the correct questions?

Viva La Freep!

I used to read about events in Europe during the 1930's with a sense of bewilderment and disbelief. I thought "How could people be so blind back then?"

I have since been forced to reexamine my own time, and I realize that madness and evil is thriving again.

it has become a question of why?

Malcolm Muggeridge attempted to answer the world's hatred for the Jewish people and the subsequent state of Israel.

He said that throughout history, the Jews were responsible for being the lawgiver (through the Almighty) to the world. People who wish to be their own gods hate the law, and therefore seek to destroy those who have proclaimed the law.

I am unsure if that is not too simplistic an approach, but it has a sense of truth to it. I would go beyond that and say that Israel is on the front lines of the epic spiritual battle between heaven and hell; between good and evil.

The Haifa bombing was so outrageous.

The Palestinians need to stop targetting civilians.
It is a huge tactical mistake for them. The Islamists have no commmon sense.

"the New York Times is disproportionately influential in framing the public and diplomatic discourse on many issues"

Not any more!
