In The Dalles I just stepped outside to replace the hummingbird feeder (dang thing keeps freezing up!) and the dry snowflakes are coming down on the blackberry leaves like dry sand or something. Makes kind of a sifting noise. The temp has gone down 2 degrees in the past hour. Now 20 degrees. About one inch on the ground so far.

Here is a satellite weather image of the U.S. . It looks to me like Oregon will be getting the chills for the next two days.
