Philly giving 8 - that's a tough one. Both teams are flawed. Guess it will come down to turnovers and mistakes, which should keep it close. -> take the points

Pats giving only 1.5 to Colts!? - the defending SB champs, at home in frigid winter weather, against a team many (even here) consider "soft". Sounds like a lot of money has made it to the Colts side. Wonder if it's smart money? Ball control is more important in bad weather, and Pats will feel the pressure of pre-game hype to lose outright. -> take the points

No, it's not smart to bet against the Pats here. I can find only ONE time in the past 20+ years that a defending SB Champ has got so little respect for a home playoff game. Only ONCE has such a team been favored by less than a full TD. That was the NFC title game in the early 90s with San Fran at Dallas. The Cowboys had beaten the 49ers in Dallas during the regular season and in the playoffs the previous season; however, the 49ers were coming off a very impressive playoff win scoring 40+ points. Many thought it would the 49ers time to finally beat the Cowboys, and Dallas was only a small (3-point) favorite at home in the game. Does this have a familiar ring? LOL

Cowboys won by 17 and went on to win another SB.

Looks like money is shifting towards the Pats now. The latest line is Patriots -2.5.
