Where in my post did I show any antipathy towards you?
Your post was actually one of the better (and, yes-- mostly lighthearted) posts so far from those FReepers who believe that politics and film appreciation are unacceptable (a view I have never shared).

I was simply telling you that this thread is designed for people who actually care about this ceremony, and it is a waste of both of our times (and bandwidth at that) to bog it down with a lot of negativity and partisan sniping.

If I have misunderstood you before and you want to enjoy the Globes as well as I and the other posters on this thread, then I am sorry. But I take these awards shows seriously, and I can't abide without comment killjoy attacks on the ceremonies.

Terry Hatcher's dress. Super Yuck. I don't even have words to describe it.

Renee Zelweger in a pony tail! Is it an athletic awards banquet tonite?

Listen, we've been making fun of Hollywoodites on these awards threads for far longer than you've been on FR.

Poor dear. Wonder who fit her in that?

Jennifer Garner in a great rrrrrrrrrrred dress. Could do without all the ruffle stuff in front.

Oh? Is she in a delicate condition? I only pay attention to celeb types during award shows so I can make fun of their dresses. ;)
