He was too dumb to anticipate that there might be an organized attack on his candidacy by the SBVT, even though he debated John O'Neill on TV in 1971.
He is too dumb to realize that after losing in November his stock within the Democratic Party would drop like a stone.
How anyone ever thought this guy was smart enough to be president is totally amazing.
Proof of this is that he has been unable to get "his candidate," whoever that might be, placed as the head of the DNC.
I've been trying to remember the last time a losing candidate didn't have their people in place at the national level.
It's because only Republicans are dumb. [/sarcasm]
Kerry thought the media would destroy the Swift Boat Vets for Truth. They tried but they didnt count on the real patriotsss speaking up for the truth.
I would say that he was too arrogant--after all, he knew the media would do their damndest to protect him (and they did not disappoint) as they had whenever this came up in MA. He just didn't count on the fact that it wouldn't end up the same way, since MA is hardly a microcosm of the US of A, and that a presidential, national election is not the same as running an insulated, strictly statewide race in a very friendly state.
He is too dumb to realize that after losing in November his stock within the Democratic Party would drop like a stone.
Kerry thinks just because he got a lot of votes, he's entitled for a 2nd shot at the big prize. What he's failing or ignoring to realize is that the 2 dynamics that were in play that allowed him to get the nomination last time around--supposedly being "electable" and his "war hero" record to offset the dems soft on defense image--has been blown to smithereens.
How anyone ever thought this guy was smart enough to be president is totally amazing.
Well, since the dems believe Bush is a moron, apparently even a bag of nails would be more smarter=better than he /sarcasm.
