I am getting more and more excited about Inauguration Day. What a celebration.

Too bad Mr. Cheney isn't from North Dakota. We could have a minature Mt. Rushmore float executed in corncombs a la the Corn Palace.

He should've called the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody. I bet they would've loaned him theirs :)

In the bottom of the article it said the float would go on permanent display. So I guess they needed a stuffed buffalo they could keep.

In case there's any trouble along the parade route, I hope the buffalo is a Trojan Buffalo!
To: JustaCowgirl
Well, better a loaner than no buffalo at all...And the museum really does have a very nice one. Seriously, it's a great museum. Well worth a visit. And I know they would never part with their buffalo :)

What, no pictures?! Okay, maybe one of our beautiful conservative sisters wasn't mentioned, but you struck a nerve with "buffalo".
There were millions of them once. They say at one time you could not see the ground underneath them for miles. They were not carnivores, therefore did not kill others to survive. They took care of there own business, and stayed out of others. Just don't p*ss 'em off.
That's me. Wiz: Sound on prairie, made by buffalo.

Well, this is the only picture that was with the article. It won't fire you up much, I don't think.

Yes, no kidding. With Zarqawi's dead body turning on a Texas barbecue spit.I'm sorry but, I don't think you could get the poorest folk from the east Texas back water bayous to clean that thing!

They might want to hang on to that steel eagle. The Super Bowl might want it as a mascot this year. (Depending on who wins next week.)
