Dr. Rice as Secretary of State The Senate Foreign Relations Committee holds a confirmation hearing for National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice to replace Colin Powell as Secretary of State. Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN) chairs the hearing with Sen. Joseph Biden (D-DE) serving as ranking member. TUES., 9AM ET, C-SPAN
