Attorney General nominee Alberto Gonzales told the Senate on Tuesday that he supports extending the expired federal assault weapons ban. Gonzales also said he wants Congress to get rid of a requirement that would eliminate part of the Patriot Act this year, despite complaints that it is too intrusive. And yet Bush's legions will fawn all over this guy because Bush says he's a good guy.
Just like those fools Assa Hutchinson and Norm Mineta.

Of course they will. I voted for Bush, but his second-term nominations have not been good.
