Very true.... we could get away with a heck of a lot more than the local dhimmis who "knew their place" and were dealt with far more harshly if they crossed the line.

What really bugs the Palestinians is all the Jewish West Bank hilltop settlements that look down on Palestinian communities which (traditionally) are in the valleys with more moisture for crops and forage. Islamics hate to have Jews looking down on them. The dhimmi laws reflect this. Dhimmi laws mandated that non-Muslim buildings cannot be higher than Muslim buildings. That a Jew must dismount his horse when passing a Muslim on foot.Mohammedans demand to have the higher ground such as the Al Aqsa mosque where they can rain down stones on the Jews praying below at the Kotel-Western Wall.
