Thanks for all the pictures!

Just call me green because I am soooooo jealous of everybody that gets to be anywhere near any of the up-comming events. My kingdom to be able to go to the Black Tie and Boots Ball!! ( I guess it's a little late, huh?)

I looking for an old picture of AL Gore, the one where he is setting in a lawn chair with a chaw in his lip in front of a trailer house.

I've looked all over FR and can't find it. Any ideas?

From what I understand Philip is the first male in the Cheney family since Dick and his brother were born so he is extra special I would suspect he will get a lot of spoiling from the VP but I am sure it will be a positive way and he will not be allowed to get away with anything.

That is the great thing of how you see the Cheney grand children interacting with their grandparents because they have so much contact they are used to small children and their energy levels whereas unfortunately nowadays because of the distances people move away from family very often grand parents are now longer used to small children so when they do see them the visits are short and the interaction is not everyday which includes discipline from grandparents.

I hear so often which is so sad that the children are so energetic they wear me out so visits are short whereas when I was small my grandmother lived down the road and because my parents had a fish and chip shop she often stayed at our house or I used to go to her all day. IMHO that is how it should be and is obviously is with the Cheney's

**Fox are covering the Texas Ball tonight should a clip of it in about 20 minutes.
Darn, did I miss it?. Now that The Factor is starting, I doubt they would interrupt O'Reilly. Hopefully H&C will show it later.**

Don't know was helping dad get ready for bed but Shep had said there would be a clip at top of the hour they did show the venue and people dancing a bit earlier but as you say probably show something on H and C.

LOL!

Thanks, Gretchen, for posting the Dose! I just love the pictures, even if we've seen them before. It's a joy to see such joyful people.

*** where did all that snow in DC come from? ***

There was a DU Funnies thread today about what they fantasized would happen during the Inauguration. Some of the fantasies were pretty bizzare (like GWB would be dragged off in handcuffs).

But one involved much snow, freezing temps, and having to cancel it all. I think the snow was God's sense of humor, teasing them. :-)
