I love SpongeBob and the whole cartoon. I don't believe he's gay at all. He is just purely innocent. I think the gaybies are hijacking him for their own nefarious purposes because of SpongeBob's popularity. It's no surprise those who would twist the childlike innocence of SpongeBob into something 'gay' would fail to recognize his innocence, an innocence much like that of young children. Too bad, too, because the Dobson crowd will follow his lead and if he boycotts, then Spongebob will become to be understood as the gay movement would have him, as a tool of their movement.
Dobson is not saying to boycott spongebob. Dobson is pointing out that this group is using spongebob and other popular characters in a program of videos to be presented in public schools as teaching materials for a "We are family" promotion which includes advocacay of the homosexual lifestyle.
