Zarqawi's hours are numbered. I have a tingly feeling that the troops are really close to decapitating this cockroach. I sure hope the reports are right this time. I am not going to get my hopes up.
I am surprised.

I don't have a source for you. I just know it from what I've read, so it's anecdotal information. I suppose it's much like the fact that much of Hitler's SA were homosexual. I don't mean that homosexuals are more likely to be Nazis or al Qaeda, but if one is a terrorist or a Nazi and has any proclivity towards other human deviancies, they can probably act out their abnormal behavior, the same way a pedophile can when he's in charge of boys. Power allows them to intimidate, coerce, and cover up their mistreatment. I personally believe Arafat was a homosexual, but hey, don't ask for an authoritative source. In addition, the whole nut ball misogyny of al Qaeda and much of the Islamic world with its gender apartheid also plays a role, I'm sure. As soon as we get al Qaeda all in jail, we can study this phenomena in detail.

you mean, who WAS Omar Hadid?
what aggravates me about this is that if we hadn't had those weeks and weeks of pre-announcements about Fallujah, the leaflets, the ineffective cordons that were supposed to have filtered civilians leaving but obviously let many others flee, we could have gotten them all before they relocated to Mosul.

Agreed.

Pederasty is common in the arab/islamic world and accepted as the norm in Koranic verse. Homosexuality is the norm in madrassas. PC western media will not discuss these issues any more than they will discuss arab/islamic treatment of women as chattel, not to mention the common arab practice of female circumcision. It is very wrong to think of them as having anything in common with the western judeo-Christian value system. Arabs honor and admire liars and theives. I have lived among them and know we are fools to let them live among us.

one of his top lieutenants was killed in last year's U.S.-led assault on the insurgent stronghold of Fallujah.

Thanks for the ping.
I'm not sure what to make of this latest tape. From the snippets reported it would seem to serve little purpose except to rally his followers. Maybe he does see the end coming to his involvement.

The tape I want to get is Zarqawi's bullet-riddled carcass being devoured by buzzards and feral dogs.

I want to read of him being killed, or at least castrated in a cluster bomb attack.
According to Ambrose the Nazis used 'bouncing bettys' for that very purpose.
