"There was nothing religious about it," he hastens to add. "This was purely a change of mind as a result of this fantastic technology, and the new insights and perceptions I had into the nature of the unborn child."
And some people dare called science and technology corrupt and evil...

I'm sure He already has, labette.
Also you have a unique position - in that you can communicate with those who still believe the lie from a perspective not everyone can. The babies waiting - and wanting - to be born, need you to use this to their advantage.

It wasn't only the slogans put out by NARAL and NOW, the entertainment media was complicit in it, too. It began in the early 70's with the lead character, played by Bea Arthur, on the TV show "Maude" getting an abortion, and then other shows followed suit. If the characters didn't get abortions, they sure talked about it in favorable terms and portrayed anyone who disagreed as some religious lunatic.

Abortion is more than a contradiction it is an indefensible abomination. The abortion mills have killed more Americans than every war we have ever fought combined.

In my younger days, I believed some of this. May God forgive me.Me too.
My awakening came many yrs. ago while watching a PBS program in Fla.
The program was similar to CSPAN, televising testimony of a nurse describing abortions to the Fla. legislature.
Her descriptions of how the 'fetus' were tossed into a bucket, sometimes still alive, and taken out with the trash made me want to vomit.
The program changed me, for the better.

I remember my mom telling me that marketers divided Christian America by saying that only Catholics were against abortion.

You're correct. When you are young, you arn't suspicious of the popular culture. Just because a judge says something is a "right" doesn't make it right. I've tried to teach my kids this. I hope they listen.
