Spammers should be neutered.
You know, I don't think we should go after the spammer. Now bear with me. The spammer is like a crack pusher. Now all those emails have advertisements for usually real companies, mostly sleezy companies, but real ones. Now you have your target. Go after those who hire the spammers and watch that demand dry up and the spammers leave.
No, spammers need to be shot. Anyone dumb enough to buy from spam should be neutered as a service to the gene pool.
