>The bright side is that I have never voted for a
democrat for president again.<
Not the first time a Christian turned out to be a profound disappointment, nor will it be the last, unfortunately. I could never have voted for Jimah Cotta simply because I couldn't stand the guy on general principles. The only Democrat I could even imagine voting for would be Joe Lieberman, and I reserve the right to sit that one out, too.
Carter is a traitor. Period.
Slate has an article from 2002 which documents his subversive activities.
An excerpt: "Carter went further than merely lobbying Congress to oppose military action or speaking out in an effort to tilt popular opinion against the coming war. He used his status as a former president to engage in foreign policy, a deliberate effort to subvert the democratic process.
In November 1990, two months after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, Carter wrote a letter to the heads of state of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. He urged the countries to drop their support for Bush's proposed military solution"

I suspect Carter and Clinton were working behind the scenes to get the UN members to vote against going into Iraq as well.
Joe LIEberman who was complicit in disenfranchising our military votes during the Florida fiasco. That Joe LIEberman?
Hey, I haven't signed on for the duration you know. Joe Lieberman seems more statemanlike than most others do today. I reserved my opinion on him because I know very little about him to date.
The man is a liar, spreading lies.
He was in the room when they discussed not counting the military votes that came from overseas.
His principles are for sale.
'Nuff said.
Oh, by the way, if you had to make the choice between a bad Republican (RINO) or a conservative Democrat, who do you think that Democrat might be?
Zell Miller.
