Security forces in Pakistan on Thursday demolished houses used by tribesmen to launch a bloody attack on the country's main gas field that forced a costly shutdown of supplies.

Militiamen used bulldozers to raze the houses near the Sui gas field in the southwestern province of Baluchistan, residents said.

"We are bulldozing those houses from where the rockets were fired," provincial home minister Mir Shoaib Nusherwani told Reuters. "We are trying to secure the areas near the gas field."

The action came a day after police sought arrest warrants against 36 tribesmen for launching the Jan. 11 attack on the Sui field in which as many as 15 people died and the main purification plant and pipelines were damaged.

Surely a typo I said to myself, as how can the "Enlightened" and "Moderate" Islamic Army of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan stoop to the level of using the tactics of the "Zionists" in Palestines or the "Crusaders" in Iraq.

However not the case.

Wonder if the Organisation of Islamic Conference will now muster up its customary outrage at house demolition by "Zionists" and "Crusaders" and condemn one of their own members.

I would like to be surprised !

Q,
Similarly, there should be no shortage of outrage at universities in the states and across the Muslim world.

Although I've not seen any protest footage just yet...

The big surprise is that the Muslims borrowed the tactic of using bulldozers this time instead of just using artillery as is their norm. But I figure that the close proximity of the Gas fields had something to do with their choice of tools.

Exactly my thoughts. Where is hte Islamic conference condemning this? Did they say anything when Saddy gassed Kurds or the Iranis attacked the Baluchis or when the Turks attack Kurds or when the Shias in Saudi A are attacked? No. Scumbags...
