Buckmeister - this came up at the GONH meeting last Tuesday, and two of the board members have seats on the committee where this bill is being heard. It is thought to be unlikely to go anywhere. It's just fuzzy-headed feel-good mush, and nearly everyone in the legislature knows it.

HB-98 was heard on the same day by that commmittee, which makes an adjustment to the NH law to allow for CCW license holders in NH to be exempt from the federal Safe Schools Act criminal charges.

Get in touch with Sam Cohen on the GONH Legislative Liason committee for details.

Mvpel- thanks for the reassurance! I didn't think this had much of a chance, but it is hard to believe this stuff still comes up.

Maybe someday politicians who keep pushing for meaningless fuzzy-headed feel-good mush will be tarred, feathered, and impeached. Ah... utopia, the unrealizeable dream.

One of these days I'll make that GONH monthly meeting, I keep telling myself that I'll go but family stuff takes priority.
