His real mistake was to apologise because it will never be enough. He took that first step onto the slide down he goes ...

but, if he groped someone (ie: once) or had raped a woman but it was some years ago, he could keep his job?

But according to NOW, the long history of male domination in these fields is attributable to "sexism" and other social constructs.

This same "sexism" is also responsible for the fact that of the participants in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and Major League Baseball, approximately 100.000% are males. < /sarcasm >

Summers' suggestion that women are inferior to men in their ability to excel at math and science

He made no such suggestion. He suggested that innate differences in the general population of men vs. women may mean that FEWER women than men are able and inclined to excel in these fields, and that this might explain the lower percentage of women in the upper echelons of these fields. He did not suggest that the women who excel in these fields are inferior to the men who excel in these fields.

Men didn't need laws, commissions or quotas to 'oppress' women. If they're smarter than us, why don't they just take what they want and quit whining? (sarcasm)

NOW are a bunch of sexless, man hating, witches!

Lawrence Summers pointed out the obvious, men and women are different and some women just can't cut it, plain and simple. Why is NOW so offended??? Perhaps if they looked past themselves, step out of denial, they would see Summers has a point.

Agreed, he had NOTHING to apologize for, why can't people just accept the truth for what it is and get over themselves.

Taking advantage of an intern was the Republican's sole reason for impeaching the first black president.

OK, I dare you to post that picture of the two young feminists with the unshaved armpits and words on their bellies. That's what I think of when I see the word NOW.

"Summers insisted that he "deeply" regreted "the impact" of his comments."

HAHAHAHA!!!

When someone vociferously shows hurt or, more specifically, offense by something I firmly believe I needed to say, I learned a decade ago a response similar to him:

"Gee, I'm sorry you feel that way."

I think I may like this guy.
