A little off topic, but once in college I had a physics prof from Slovenia who was very dissatisfied with our performance as a class (there were about 9 of us) and dictated an impromptu review session that night. After finishing about midnight, he just pointed at me as the volunteer to escort one of the girls to her dorm across campus while another male was to escort the other girl to her car. The prof's name was "Sir" and the only appellation voiced in front of his name was "Yes".
