"Send the former 'marine' here. I'll bet he doesn't last two minutes." Thank you for not capitalizing, "Marine".
This guy doesn't deserve any part of that title, and I know a lot of Marines, including me, who would demonstrate that to him.

>I? the victim's mother was in a wreck while driving to Tyler. She was shaken and covered with cuts and bruises after flipping her car three times, a relative said,
What are they saying--she rolled the car over??

Thank goodness someone put a stop to this maniac. Can you imagine if the perp had done his crime spree in a gun control state?
I wonder how many people are alive today because that store owner shot and stopped this beast before he could do more harm.

Because I was behind in the timeline, I wil go sit in the corner for awhile.

You're welcome. He's pondscum and ought to be tried in military court, but it's Texas where they actually get rid of their trash.

We owe a vote of thanks to the fellow who shot him. Exactly. We should start a fund to reward this fellow and recognize his heroism nationally.
Who knows how many young women he saved?

I'd like to see Texas Justice run wild over this dude.

The police sketch looked nothing like him. If he didn't get shot he could have escaped.

The police sketch looked nothing like him. These sketches often don't. That doesn't stop juries from convicting people who look like the sketches though.

Chivalry is dead. Security guards nor co-workers escort ladies to their cars anymore. A little off topic, but once in college I had a physics prof from Slovenia who was very dissatisfied with our performance as a class (there were about 9 of us) and dictated an impromptu review session that night. After finishing about midnight, he just pointed at me as the volunteer to escort one of the girls to her dorm across campus while another male was to escort the other girl to her car. The prof's name was "Sir" and the only appellation voiced in front of his name was "Yes".
May God bless and remain with Megan's soul, and may He bless her family - particularly her mother - at this tragic time.

"If someone fell in their parking lot, they would be responsible." Yeah, Right, only because we have far to many anal retentive type yahoos who have law degrees.
Used to be if you fell down you would try to get up quickly so as not to be embarrassed by your clumsiness.
Now with the litigious society we live in today most folks after they fall are looking for a lawyer even before they get up off the damned ground.

It was during the robbery attempt that a store worker fired the shot that landed Williams in the hospital, authorities said. Good job.
