increase speculation that the Knicks will take a run at Phil Jackson, the former Bulls' and Lakers' coach. Jackson, a onetime Knick player, has said several times this season that he would be interested in coaching the team.

I didn't know that Dolan has a daughter!

the years of no discipline with players has lead to a decline in quality young coaches. Bird leaves the Celtics and gives Indiana a boost. Danny Ainge made the Suns a better team, but 10 or 12 old men keep moving from one team to another as if there are no young guys to lead a team. Discipline is dead and so too is the growth of the league.

Thomas was a good player, but his teams have been under achievers -yet someone keeps hiring him to bring in guys like Lenny. That era is dead and they need to rebuild the NBA. /rant off.
