Video apparently shows public beheadings (Peaceful Islamic sacrificial practices alert)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A video posted on an Islamist Web site apparently shows two Iraqis being beheaded on a city sidewalk as pedestrians and vehicles pass by.

The video was posted on a Web site that previously has shown video verified as being produced by a group led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. However, CNN has not confirmed the authenticity of this video.

In the video, the two men tell their kidnappers that they drove truckloads of food and supplies to an American base in the central Iraqi town of Ramadi.

The men said they lived in the Sadr City section of Baghdad and worked for a Lebanese company. While they admitted staying on a U.S. base for two weeks, the two said they were lured into the $150-a-month job not knowing they would be working for Americans.

The sad thing is that people are getting so used to these beheadings that there is more concern in the US over the slaughter of some lambs for Eid than over the almost daily beheadings of human beings.

I believe the nutcases are also planning on posting the video of the beheading of the Swede a couple of days ago as another festive tribute.

It makes me wonder if Iraq can see peace or if we can bring it about. Spain was once able to put an end to large scale human sacrifice --- but it was before political correctness and they forced the people to change religions.

Of course I’m waiting on the weeping willow to tell me I’m just making things worse by not recognizing that all Muslims are not terrorists and that the majority are peaceful and are horrified by what is being done in the name of their religion. I say that’s bunk. Its been almost four years now since 9/11 and Muslims and the Islamic faithful have had ample opportunity to recognize the direction their religion is taking and take steps to confront its downfall. They’ve done nothing significant. I imagine there are thousands of Mullahs and Imams salivating at the prospect of the opportunities possible if they just let their crusaders by proxy continue their reign of terror. If Muslims want to save their religion the time for them to act is now. Christianity did it almost five centuries ago. It is time for Islam to catch up.

I don't know about any beheading video...but I watched clip #499 on the MEMRI TV website and there were some very nice Pro-Unity and Elections broadcast clips there. I was moved.

I'd like for all in the MSM to see them and choke on them.

I didn't spend too much time on the CNN site so correct me if I'm wrong here.

Why is it that they have no video of these and other beheadings, but they have multiple links to videos of car bomings that killed U.S and legitimate Iraqi forces?
