This is a MAJOR MAJOR step forward.

We discussed this on one of the Iraqi blogs a few months ago. The terrorists have been misusing the term infidel and non-believer to mean anyone who was not a Muslim, even to the point of saying some Muslims were not pure enough and were infidels as well. I learned that the term infidel was coined to identify the "unfaithful" those who do not believe in God. By the same token, a Christian or a Jew are NOT non-believers. The belief is in God.

The terrorists are cherry picking sentences in the Koran to justify murder. Only the Muslim clerics and scholars can fix this.

To use your analogy, The Koran is a huge bowl of cherries with about two or three blueberries in there to throw into the eyes of infidels. "It helps to lull them to sleep for an easier kill."

I have read the "holy" Tome of Terror. You ought to give it a shot.

Ahh, but the Christian and the Jew are infidels. Why? Because according to Islam, Moses and Christ were Moslems and this was all known and common knowledge until the 3rd Ecomunical Council, where the evil Christians/Jews rewrote the holy books dropping Islam and Allah and thus this was the reason that Mohammed had to be sent. Thus, while they "accept" the Bible new and old testiment, they do so only in so much that it is exactly the same as the Koran and in all those areas it is not (probably close to 98%) it is wrong and to be discarded.

That is islam, islam has but two houses: Der el Islam (the House of subservance to Allah) and Der el Harb (the House of War).
