Some guy, who had been given a blue wrist bracelet (i.e., Blue State emblem), asked if anyone wanted it. The man was a Bush supporter and didn't really want it, but apparently had accepted it from a guy handing out dozens and dozens of them. The man had previously not felt confident enough to "out" himself as a Bush supporter by turning it down. After he heard several of us ridicule the leftists, he realized that he was not in enemy-occupied territory. This one incident demonstrates so clearly why we must continue with the counter-protest mission.

Right, most of the people were just putting up with the leftists' antics without commenting.
After bmwcyle, I, and a few others started ridiculing the leftists, more people felt that they could follow their instincts without fear of attack. They joined in and verbally attacked the leftists.
