I'm not saying I'm coming, but what's the dress code for the dinners and other events? Coat and tie or can I wear blue jeans?

Unfortunatly, it's two weeks after a trip to Grand Rapids. :(

Probably can't pull this off. I'll try and make next years.

Dio, All

I am bringing 8 or 10 new people with me this year to enjoy CPAC and find out just what WHACPACSACPAC really means. We will be arriving late afternoon on Wednesday and more than a few will head down to help with the booth setup.

A month ago I blocked off 9 rooms at the Washington Plaza Hotel (Home of the 2005 FR Inaugural Ball -- located at Thomas Circle just 1 mile from the Ronald Reagan Building).

These are booked as non smoking rooms, but you may be able to change that to smoking. The rooms are $89 per night plus tax (plus parking if you need it). (These rooms are advertised at $119 plus tax and parking)

I still have 2 rooms available for sure, maybe 3, plus 1 guy looking for a 'roomie'.

I also have a room at the JW Marriott for just Friday night if anyone is planning on being here just for the weekend. That room is $129 (plus tax and parking) (A lot better than $209 + +, isn't it?)

Anyone interested in taking one of these rooms, please FReepmail me.

I see on biddingfortravel site that someone bid on priceline for the 4* Grand Hyatt for $80 bucks and got it! Outstanding deal!

I have no idea why I'm even looking...With travel, convention fees and meals this is over $1,000 for me. Mrs Drango would file for divorce!

You all have a great time! I was just in DC for the Inaugural and the Ball sans the husband, will be in divorce court for sure, if I leave again.
