Billboard in Baghdad...

Mon Jan 24, 4:11 AM ET

A huge poster showing the image of al-Qaeda's frontman in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and a burning car with a caption that reads: 'This what Zarqawi is doing in Iraq for our beloved ones now and in the future,' is seen in one of Baghdad's streets. Al-Zarqawi, declared war on next week's elections which he said were aimed at bringing the country under Shiite control, in an audiotape posted on an Islamist website.(AFP/Ali al-Saadi)

That political advertisement essentially encapsulates what this election is all about.

A choice between continued captivity, or freedom from the fear that has enchained that nation for the better part of six decades.
