For those offended by television preachers and faith healers please allow me to apologize to you on behalf those of us who feel Mr. Hinn misrepresents Jesus and the Bible.

Both the Old and New Testament condemn soliciting money in connection with divine healing. If God chooses to heal someone it is a free gift. To ask for or receive money for a gift is an insult to God and His goodness.

God does not take bribes. He doesn't buy His friends. And we cannot buy His favor either. Everything already belongs to God. Preachers should not make Him into a cosmic beggar.

True they solicit money to pay the bills and grow the ministry as do all modern day preachers of all faiths. People have to pay for buildings, employees, travel, production, witnessing materials and other stuff.

Giving is requested and not required by force.
