I went to a Sunday School class party, a progressive party that served one type of food in one apartment, a second type in the second apartment, and desert in another apartment (all in the same building). In each residence the TV was going. The topic of conversation was often about television. I was troubled that we were " out doing something" and yet still the idiot box was pushing its annoying images on us.
I pride myself in not watching TV but when people were discussing classic episodes of classic shows, I remembered viewing about all of them. And I decided life is too short to watch too much more TV even if it is "quality TV".
