"In a political race they would be very damaging if Corsi had any chance at all against Kerry in Massachusetts, which he does not. Corsi may run but his campaign is quixotic at best."
I just think this sort of campaign does more harm than good. If you aren't going to run a serious candidate to talk about real conservative solutions to America's problems, don't bother.
And, even if there's no chance of a GOP Senate or Presidential win in MA, it hurts the party in other Northeastern states (PA, NJ, etc) to run somebody with a checkered past and who seems interested in revenge.
I agree with that, but if revenge is his motivation, he won't care, but until he actually files I have to think he is just yanking Kerry's chain.
Though, to be perfectly honest, I think this is a much better idea than not running any candidate in the general election, which Mass. Republicans have done in past campaigns.
I think that Corsi's candidacy is going to be greeted with the same kind of skepticism that was visited upon Kenneth Timmerman, when he attempted-unsuccessfully, as it turns out-to the same thing, in Maryland.
However, I don't think that Mr. Corsi is the type to be deterred by naysayers.
