I want to know how she got back in the front row after being exiled to the back??
Helen Thomas was never exiled to the back of the briefing room - that is just another liberal canard.
At press conferences that are held in the East Room or the Old Executive Office Building, etc. the seating arrangement is different each time. The wires, the nets and major newspapers get preferential seating. Since Ms. Thomas is now only a columnist for Hearst, she no longer qualifies as a "must call". Under those circumstances, do you blame President Bush for not calling on her?
