Doesn't Jesus suggestion to be celibate violate the command?Jesus never "suggests" that anyone be celibate. Paul does.
All Jesus says about celibacy is "Let him accept it who can."

And what does He say prior in that passage? He says that celibacy is better. When you combine that with Jesus telling us to be perfect as His heavenly Father is perfect, that seems like a strong suggestion to me...
