The Mac version of MS Office is reportedly better than the PC version. I can't verify this as I have never used it.

It has a few slight advantages, the reviewing tools are a bit nicer, but overall there aren't any major differences except that the Entourage mail client is lousy for working with an MS Exchange-based mail system when compared with Outlook.

1. Formatting Palette.
2. Save as PDF without buying acrobat (although all OS X apps have this).
3. Notebook view.
4. Audio recording in notebook view with the ability to time stamp the recording to note entries.
5. Export PowerPoint presentations to quicktime movies.
6. Alpha channels, transparencies, blending and other Quartz Extreme yumminess in Excel spreadsheets.
7. Project Center in Entourage
