IMO, women in the black community will be the first to begin crossing over to the Republican aisle. Bucks the tradition of woman voting Democrat, but given the state of the community it is often women that are charged with the responisbility of their communities while their male counterparts are too often found absent or imprisoned.

Condi represents more of a threat to Democrats than Thomas.

Wexler, Waters, Daschle, Gray Davis, Gary Condit, Janet Reno, Madeline Albright, McCauliffe...

What a crowd. Who would want to join them?

Any black person who voted for Robert Byrd is an idiot.

I concur. That would be like a Jew voting for Hitler.

Why are there no black nominees for the DNC position?

There was one - Donna Brazile. Algore's old campaign manager, remember her? Turned down, as it happens, not sure why. She's one who has expressed indignation at the treatment accorded Rice.

Another day, another high tech lynching by the Democrats of minorities that have strayed off the Democratic plantation.

"These are the Klans that are still seen today"

Actually, the United Klans of America (founded in 1961) was the oldest Klan organization when they went out of business after losing the lawsuit filed by the mother of murder victim Michael Donald in 1987. The UKA was also responsible for the bombing of the Baptist church in Birmingham.

"Looks like maybe Bush's subtle approach in reaching out to Blacks may be beginning to work".

I disagree - I don't think President Bush had any motives for wanting Dr. Rice in his inner circle - other than he admires, respects and trusts her. I understand his positive sentiments for her can be attributed to her tenure with #41.

The Repubs need to ask American blacks "Why?" and keep asking until the reason becomes clear. The majority of blacks in America have been deceived by the Democrat Party into thinking their only way out of oppression is with the Dems - that they aren't capable of anything without some kind of allegiance to an authoritarian institution.

Terrorists around the World can sleep a little better knowing that if they are ever captured by our brave soldiers, the Rat Party will be looking out for their welfare. They can rest assured that they will never have to worry about drinking warm Lemonade since Crazy Ted and Box-a-Rocks will make sure that they have the required 4 cubes of ice for their parched throats. If they drink it too fast and get an ice cream headache, there will be court martials. While President Bush is fighting for the protection of the American People, the Dumocrats are fighting for the protection of the Terrorists.

Senator Dayton from MN on the Senate Floor has claimed that President Bush knowingly lied to the American People and Congress. With no proof whatsoever the Senator is making reckless accusations that the President lied to go to War in Iraq. If Senators are making such very serious charges than they better have proof beyond a doubt that the President knowingly made up the story of the WMD. Senator Dayton, Crazy Kennedy and Box-a-Rocks better have proof that GW knew there was no WMD in Iraq. Of course there is only proof of the opposite.

Today’s Rat Party is devoid of new ideas, direction or values so they have only resort to the Politics of Personal Destruction. The Moore-on wing-nuts running the Party are trying to make a case for the President’s dishonesty when they have no evidence to back that up. When I called their offici to ask what exactly the President lied about, neither Dayton or Box-a-Rocks gave any answer. The accusation is all that matters and proof is not necessary in a DNCBS world. There is not even the slightest hint that the President or anyone else knew there was no WMD!

After Saddamn kicked Clinton out of Iraq, we had no inspectors for 5 years. We knew that he had WMD when he gave us the boot and did not agree to inspectors until we have him 100,000 reasons on the border. Even then he defied Hans Klink and his UN Cops while playing the shell game with him. If you are 90% sure he has them and would have them used on America while not cooperating, a President would be a fool to trust that madman. That is what the Ratpea Brain Trust would have preferred.

There is not absolute proof that the WMD did not exist in Iraq during the 18 months we sweated on the border with our 82nd Airborne Inspectors playing solitaire while rushing to War. The only thing we can be assured of now is that there are no WMD in Iraq, which is nice.

Do we say that the exit pollsters were lying when they polled Kerry winning the election only to find that their samples were wrong? Do we say the networks were lying when they were predicting a big win for Kerry? Bad example. Being wrong or deceived when you believe it to be true is not lying. You have to change the definition of lie to fit this argument, which is what the CommiKKKrats are doing. Taking their cues from Fraudulant 911, every whackjob conspiracy is to be believed and if you lie about someone being a liar, it must be true. Midget-Boxer floated this theory on the Senate floor and when not confronted decided to continue her accusations which were followed by Drunk Uncle Ted and Dayton.

Now the Republicans have to address the accusations to show the depths they have sunken. What specifically is the lie or are the lies?? What exactly did Secretary of State Rice or President Bush lie about??? What lies were told leading up to the War??? We will wait. I called Box-a-Rocks and Dayton and got no answer to these question. Only a they will call you back...Right!

Rather than celebrate the Iraq Election and Freedom of 25 million more enslaved people, the Rats want to declare the war illegal. Rather than give our Soldiers and Military the credit and Honor they deserve, the “Peace” at any Price Party wants to denigrate them. They would rather the Rape Rooms and Mass Murder to continue until the 55th UN agreement is considered and Saddamn decided to step down or was somehow voted out. What was the voter turnout for their hero Saddamn?? We could count on Koffee re-checking his Swiss bank accounts to keep the pressure on. We could count on the CommiKrauts to do the bang-up job they did to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mogadishu, Kosovo, Bosnia, Somalia and Haiti. They at least keep full employment for the Grave Diggers. But the Slaves all had Healthcare right up til they were shot!

What Box-a-Rocks and Crazy Uncle Ted have proved is that they have no business anywhere near the Military or Security of this Country. Their hatred and outrage at the success that Bush has had and the lack of seating on the Trash Heap of Histoir has sent them into a deep dank dimensia never before seen in the Dims. Even though they were KO’d in the Election, Boxer wants to continue a couple more rounds with Condi. Condi Rox!!

Pray for W and Our Troops

Not to keep Dr. Rice on the plantation per se but, rather, to keep other blacks who might want to be in a position of authority. Rice is "off" the Dem plantation but others might see her advancement and aspire to the same.

Plantation politics.

"Why are there no black nominees for the DNC position?"

Actually, there are two black candidates for the position, although neither has gotten any traction and won't be selected: Former Dallas Mayor (and Senate-race loser) Ron Kirk and former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb. And when McAwful was elected DNC Chairman in 2001 or so, he beat out another black ex-mayor, Maynard Jackson of Atlanta. Seems like black Democrat mayors can't get another political job if their lives depend on it.

You misunderstood my post....maybe I was unclear. What I meant by Bush's subtle approach in reaching out to blacks was the meetings he was having all week with various black leaders. I never have doubted his motive for wanting Dr. Rice in his inner circle...they've been friends for many years, and she is emminetly qualified. Sorry for the unclear message.

Howard Dean is the next "would be Hitler".. there is no doubt in my mind... this man has a lust for power and lacks completely the intellect and maturity to use it in any way other than vindictive and self grandizing.

You forgot Sen. Harkin (Iowa)...one of the most
ardent boosters of anything that bashes any and
all Republicans....He is the one who boosted the Dems rally at a funeral (Paul Wellstone) in 2002. He
also can be seen in the background of the famous
Dean meltdown..shaking his fist and rooting him
on....How do Iowans ever vote for him?? Jake

"Just a thought. . . Rice moves into SOS and in two years Cheney decides to step down because of his health. Rice moves to VP with strong credentials and has two years to settle into the saddle before the next election.

All too often over the last four years, I have heard that Bush plays chess while the Dems play checkers. What do you think?"

An interesting idea, but I think unless his health really does fail, Cheney is enjoying the ride as VP and will want to stay. Can't blame him...he's earned it! But it would be nice to see Condi move up in the ranks!

Grat analogy! I'd never heard that about Bush playing chess while the Dems play checkers! I love it!

The Black nominees for any significant DemoRat position have not forgotten how well Ron Brown did in the Rat hierarchy. It's safer to shoot from the sidelines.
