I think Wolfgang Puck uses them for making a Bavarian Cream.
Having an affair does not amount to drugging women to get his way with them.
His wife, IMO, is wrong to generalize like that. But there is some truth to it....parts of "white" America does teach "hate blacks" or what have you. I know, because I have heard and seen it from my youth. Is it as bad as it was a long time ago? Definitely not. But it remains.
I never said Cosby is a saint. We all have flaws. But I admire the man. He has yet to show me that my admiration isn't deserved.
I heard Leo Tyrell (sp?), the "fair-minded civil rights attorney," on the radio dissing Cosby every which way a few weeks ago. I don't think the black liberal leadership likes him and his pointing out that the Emperor's wee-wee is hanging out.
Goodness, I realize that! I didn't say he drugged her. But he is not one with "outstanding integrity". I was addressing that and not whether he did what is alleged. He admits to the contact.
He's probably a good man with a celebrity status that grants him a platform plus temptations and appears to have muddled views, some on target, some not.
There is a temptation to over-praise a man who could advance a cause we agree with and overlook his flaws. That's not the right path, IMO.
As to his wife's America statements, it was not historical reference but calling this a hateful racist country. You may wish to embrace this notion. I do not.
You're right........liberals know how to do that "set-up" thing.
I honestly believe they stay up at night practicing on how to lie, cheat and steal. Because that's when most of this stuff happens.
IMHO, Mr. Cosby is being attacked because he is not towing the "normal" liberal black minority line.
Shall we then just agree that "He's probably a good man with a celebrity status that grants him a platform plus temptations and appears to have muddled views, some on target, some not" and agree to disagree on the rest. : )
I agree with everything you said except the above. I heard Cosby tell the following joke on TV. I assume it was cable and was probably 10 years ago:
A friend of mine was extolling the usage of cocaine. I asked him why. He said, "On, man.....because it enhances your personality. I replied, "Yeah, but what if you are a(n) a$$hole?"
My parents went to Vegas to see him......when he only did stand up at the time...we're talking years ago. No vulgarity.
I've also read one of his books (forget the name), where he explained his position on vulgarity and the way stand-ups use it instead of humor...he stated his strong disapproval.
Apparently, he has "evolved" to using some foul language.
...or he did it. I hope not.
That kid you claim Cosby had out of wedlock isn't his. Blood tests proved that. His philandering years ago was brought to light when the girl, who he had been supporting for years even though she wasn't his, tried to blackmail him. She was brought up on charges over it as I remember. Yes he screwed around, and maybe he screwed this bimbo too, but why wait a year to say anything? If you've been mauled, groped, touched, etc. and you didn't like it then, why wait so long to complain about it?
I trained to be a massage therapist at one time. They do have part of the class which concentrates on where not to touch or whether to ask first (such as a deep thigh massage which may extend to the buttocks). Methinks she learned what to say, rather than what NOT to.
So, what's he going to say now they're getting him really teed off? Do these people truly think everyone is as sophomoric as they are? Time for a full-spectrum NAACP dig. Maybe Eastwood & Cosby can do a documentary about how the Democrats have totally screwed black Americans.
I can't help but marvel at the coincidental timing here. Cosby gets a lot of press for his chastisement of blacks in this country. Amazingly, some woman remembers his abuse of her and starts 'spreading the news' Who knows, it might even cause him to stop his national speaking tour, thus not allowing any more black families to benefit from his pointed humor.
OR, another 'celebrity' who thinks he can get away with anything just because he thinks he IS a 'celebrity'?
