Jan. 27, 2005 — Investigators probing the sexual misconduct allegations made against Bill Cosby by a former Temple University employee have concluded there was sexual contact between the entertainer and the woman, but they are trying to determine whether it was consensual, a source close to the investigation has told ABC News.
Cosby met voluntarily with law enforcement officials Wednesday at a location outside Pennsylvania. A 31-year-old woman has accused Cosby, 67, of giving her a pill that rendered her semiconscious and fondling her at his Cheltenham Township, Pa., mansion early last year. Cosby has denied the allegations, his attorney called them "preposterous" and "bizarre."
A source close to the investigation told ABC News that Cosby's version of what happened between him and the woman and his accuser's story are similar in many ways. The dispute, the source told ABC News, is whether the contact between Cosby and the woman was consensual.

IMHO....if Mr. Cosby was of the type of man who resorted to drugging a woman to get his way with her (which to me seems preposterous...), we'd have heard about this kind of behavior long ago. I don't believe that this kind of behavior would be a one-time incident. Nor do I believe that a man, who appears to be happily married for many years, of otherwise outstanding integrity...who refused to even use vulgarity in his humor when he was a stand-up, would resort to such a thing.
I think this is yet another smear attempt on a conversative minority. The lefties are disgusting pieces of trash....they have no moral standards or values.

This is typical tactics with the libs - They bragged about 'getting Rush' (on the drugs) and getting O'Reilly - except that didn't work out as their complicity/entrapment was too evident - and they boasted that "Hannity's next."
Conservatives or others, like Cosby, that don't tow the line, need to beware.
It's the libs new method of character assassination in order to destroy any who dare appose them...

Most definitely. Why don't speak out, like Zell did and does? Only one explanation, and it ain't because it's not "in their nature." We know the explanation.
I know somw guys who were on the TV crew when he did the picture pages thing. They said he was a total PITA to work with.
seems hillary has built her very own plantation. Where FBI files are stored in the hay rafters, just in case the newest slaves think they can run. I still am in disbelief that nothing NOTHING was done in the FBI fiasco. All they needed was a few minutes, us "watching the birdie" and voila', history has the potential to forever be changed, at will. Shameful.

Exactly what I was thinking. The whole "leak" of investigators to the media here not believable.
Also, the accusers name was spoken openly on talk radio here in New Jersey and Philadelphia. Her parents went to the Canadian media and spilled everything, including her name and her story. Most of the US press will not release this information.
What is also weird about this case is that the woman was going to some school in Canada to learn "massage and aroma therapy" or something like that, and during her classes she "became aware of what violating someone's body really means."
Lots of people are PITA to work with....I have to work with two like that....and they aren't even famous. They just think they're Queens. : )

I have no idea whether Cosby did or didn't.
But, I have a big problem with the way the story was written.
First sentence states unequivocally that investigators have concluded that sexual contact took place. Period.
ABC does not cite actual investigators, but, " sources " close to the investigation.
Then they quote the District Attorney who says that he has not made any determination as to whether the woman is credible.
The DA then hints that he has a problem with her reporting delay and subsequent contact with the man who so traumatized her.
Interesting last paragraph :
" Cosby, a Temple alumnus, frequently attends campus events and has generated headlines over the past year for criticizing African-American parents for the way they raise their children."
From E on line :
" According to published reports, the woman claims that she met Cosby for dinner last January at a Pennsylvania restaurant where he gave her pills that made her dizzy after she complained of stress and tension."
"The woman said she accompanied Cosby home where he allegedly proceeded to fondle her breast and place her hand on his genitals."
Other reports say she was " knocked out,"- so how does she know what actually occurred, if anything ?
"Though the woman reportedly admits that her memory of the night's events is fuzzy,
she claims she woke at 4 a.m. the next morning with her clothing in disarray and her bra unfastened."

"The woman’s parents told The Sun she filed the report after becoming more aware of ethical boundaries during her massage school training."
"They said she had not seemed herself recently, and that they knew something was bothering her."
“She’s starting to understand that when you violate a person it’s not right,” her father told the newspaper.
