Most Democrats have come out against it. In the end, if the price is right, Nelson will back the President.
Nelson knows where his bread is buttered and it is not with the wacko lefties. He stays as close to the middle as possible and sometimes wanders over to the right quite a bit. For the most part, he is pretty well liked out here.
