MURRAY A Murray High senior had a truly "memorable" 18th birthday Thursday when she and her girlfriend found out they'll be "cutest couple" in the yearbook. "It is really cool," said Kortni Coats, who will be named in the yearbook, along with Taunica Crump, her girlfriend of seven months. "We had joked around about it, but we had never thought we would actually win," Coats said. "It is so cool that all these students stand behind us and are supporting us." The decision follows a revote after an apparent tie with a junior-senior pair.

Is she hot?
What state are you in?
A lesbian couple is guaranteed to get the approval of every male in school. Kind of tough to overcome that advantage.
What? No pictures?
Really, this is sort of a non-story. The fact that a couple of girls got elected as "cutest couple" at some high school hardly warrants even a second glance.
It's not a conspiracy. The kids voted for them. There it is.
got pics? I want to see how cute they really are.
I wouldn't let my kid buy one of the yearbooks. If someone gave her one, she'd be expected to return it to them and she would know that she shouldn't sign her name in one unless the deviant stuff had been removed first.
Moral values and fundamental principles matter. Our entire Republic, our liberty and way of life depend on the citizenry of this nation freely (as in free will choice)following them. When we depart from that, the loss of all of those things lies at the door.
The people who founded this nation understood this.
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other."- John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798
Looks like you did it right. Links work, excepted correctly, no inane comments.
Your mother would be proud.
Approved! Congrats
This is fine with me. My only beef with the gay community is their total disregard for preventative measures in transimiting AIDS and don't ask to be treated special just because your a homo. And stop equating yourself with race minorities.
No. They are not. Keep hoping.
True. The fun part is explaining it to their husband and their children years from now.
Odd names like "Kortni" and "Taunica" mark the state as being Utah (if the link to the Deseret Morning News wasn't enough of a clue).
What's most disgusting is that six years ago the student body elected mentally handicapped women to the prom royalty. It was a proud day for the community and school. Now look at this six years later. Tolerance is a two-edged sword.
Bump and ping.
Well, I don't know them,
but I'm guessing they must look
something like these two--
As I see it: keep it to yourself and stop trying to recruit children.
>> Really, now, how often does a student body collude and do a 'stunt' nomination for something like this? Happens all the time.
Exactly. Problem is the militants out there use the flimsiest pretext to push stories that say "See! We're being accepted!"
Um, no you're not. The kids are just acting up. Learn the difference.
